According to Thomas S. Hischak, of the State University of New York at Cortland, the play "Brothers," by Herbert Ashton, Jr., is about a scientific experiment on behavior where identical twin children are placed in different environments--one wealthy, one poor (Broadway Plays and Musicals: Descriptions and Essential Facts of More Than 14,000 Shows through 2007, pp. 59-60, 2009).
